Listings module expanded to “Listings/Sales” Plus new “View” commands.
The “Listings” module has been expanded to “Listings / Sales” :
Note that the new view commands also restrict Office level users to viewing sales only from their office. And, if given the authorization, an office level user can be allowed to add or edit transactions from their office. To enable this user control, options have been added to the Preferences – Command Security command for the four View commands. So it is possible to add users who can only View and not Add or Edit listings and/or transactions. ![]() This is illustrated above where the View Listing command is assigned an “8” level. This means that any BOS user with a level of 0 through 8 will be able to view listings. The above example shows the View Transaction commands being assigned a “7” level. Users with levels 0 through 7 could view transactions, but a level 8 or 9 user could not. Note: this command is accessed from the Preferences drop down menu:
Using the new “View Listings” command:
The View Listing search screen is shown above. The browse can be filtered, or the street address or MLS number can be entered. When the desired listing is highlighted, click the “View” button.
View Listings “Listing General” tab is illustrated above provides a convenient display of key property information. Items cannot be added of changed.
“Agents” tab view includes the units and volume awarded to the agent.
View of Contacts tab includes addresses and phone numbers of the sellers and other contacts involved with the listing.
The “View Transaction” command provides a convenient source for sales transaction contract information for managers, administrators, concierge, and other affiliated divisions.
The easy to use transaction search and browse form above is used to locate the desired transaction. When pointed to the transaction, the lower left “View” button will display the transaction details.
With the “Property” tab, the operator can view (but not alter) key information pertaining to the property and sales contract. Note when viewing transactions, the operator is not allowed to make any changes. Thus, the only buttons to use are “OK”, “Letters”, “Print”, and “Preview” as shown below.
Note also with View transactions that the “Contacts” tab contact information has been expanded to three rows for each seller, buyer, other contact, so that the phone numbers and complete address can be noted. Edit of contacts is not allowed in the View command.
The commissions tab in View appears as illustrated above. The operator can note the revenue as well as the fees and commissions of the players but cannot add any new “rows” nor drill down into the details of any income or commission. Note also with version 14.3 that a new handy column has been added to commissions tab: “Office”. This has been added to assist operators and other staff in reviewing the correct income and commission/fee allocations for cross sales for sales that involve special departments such as relocation
Within the “Trust” tab, escrow account entries can be viewed but not reversed nor new entries made.
