Notes for Customers with Multiple Databases

 If your operation is running multiple companies in multiple databases, you will need to do a database rebuild the first time you switch to the other company after installing Version 14.

Moving to another database/company is done through the “Switch Databases…” option within the ‘File” drop down menu.

Version 14’s switch command now shows where you are coming from above the entry box for the database you wish to switch to.

Normally, you will be asked to login into the next company. But, if you had just installed version 14, you may get the message below and you are unable to login:

This message occurs because version 14 requires new database items and the company database needs to be rebuilt. You will have to click the “OK” button to obtain the blank login as shown below:

Click the “Cancel” button.

 To rebuild the database, Version 14’s “REAL Easy” program group now has a “Database Rebuild” command. Use this command as shown below:

The rebuild process will begin:

After completion, click the “OK” button. Next, you should then be able to login to the next company database.
